BILZEN - De cafetaria van vrijetijdssite De Kimpel is dé ontmoetingsplaats voor bezoekers en gebruikers van de site aan de Eikenlaan. Het interieur onderging zopas een metamorfose en de strakke stek kreeg de klinkende naam 'Kimpelkaffee'. Op donderdag 20 september opende uitbaatster Chris Keppers de deuren.
Ontwerpbureau ADEMarchitecten nam de afgeleefde ruimte onder handen en gaf het geheel een moderne en frisse look. Een gezellig salon maakt de hippe plek compleet.
Naast het vernieuwde interieur pakt het Kimpelkaffee nog uit met een ander nieuwtje. Vanaf nu kunt u er namelijk opnieuw terecht voor een lekkere hap. In samenwerking met de cafetaria van het zwembad De Kimpel wordt een uitgebreide selectie aan lekkere gerechten aangeboden. Net zoals vroeger kan de ruimte trouwens ook weer afgehuurd worden voor allerhande activiteiten.
